Reunions 2007

Reunions Weekend kicked off on Thursday evening with a gala celebration on the Lawn, providing alumni an opportunity to mix with many top faculty and administrators. Peggy Harrison

Bigger and better

Reunions is also a great event for future alumni. Activities include Cavalier Kids’ Day in the Aquatic & Fitness Center, a Kids’ Carnival in Mad Bowl and a Kids’ College. Peggy Harrison

On May 31 through June 3, a record crowd of more than 3,600 alumni and family members returned to Grounds for a weekend packed with activities ranging from outdoor band parties to seminars with some of the University’s best-loved professors. A fireworks display over the Rotunda, a new Reunions tradition that began last year, again provided a highlight on Saturday night.

Reunions Weekend 2008 will be held June 5-8 for the classes of ’63, ’68, ’73, ’78, ’83, ’88, ’93, ’98 and ’03. (Don’t miss out when your reunion year rolls around—98 percent of this year’s attendees say that they would recommend Reunions to their friends.) Amid the flurry of parties, dinners, faculty-led seminars, receptions, local excursions and fireworks, there’s still time at Reunions to just kick back and relax with old friends. Peggy Harrison
