Annual awards go to soccer and tennis players

Soccer player Caroline Miller (Col '13) received the IMP Award as UVA's top female athlete, capping off a year in which she set single-season school records with 20 goals and 47 points and was honored as the 2012 ACC Offensive Player of the Year. She was the first Cavalier to be named a finalist for the Hermann Trophy, the nation's top individual women's soccer award. She ranks second in school history in career goals and points.

Tennis player Jarmere Jenkins (Col '13) received the WINA Award as the University's top male athlete. The 2012 ACC Player of the Year, Jenkins is a four-time All-ACC selection who has led the Cavaliers to four ACC Championships, three ITA National Team Indoor Championships and two NCAA runner-up finishes during his career. In November, Jenkins won the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championship singles title.
