State Court Guards UVA Climate Scientist and Research

Nearly two years after Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli (Engr class of ’91) expressed suspicions of fraud concerning climate research conducted at UVA, the Virginia State Supreme Court ruled that Cuccinelli’s investigation lacked authority. The attorney general sought more than 34,000 documents in his inquiry into work by former UVA climate scientist Michael Mann, who now works at Penn State University.
