Ryan J. Turner (Engr ’10) of South Jordan, Utah, died Feb. 25, 2018. He served in the Australia Adelaide Mission with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints before attending the University, where he completed a triple major. He went on to graduate school in engineering and public policy in a program shared between Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Lisbon, where he learned Portuguese and met his wife. After Mr. Turner earned his doctorate, they moved to Salt Lake City, where he worked for the LDS church. He was known as a servant who loved being around people. He especially loved being a father to his daughter, Esther. Survivors include his wife, Ana Patrícia; his daughter; his parents; and two brothers.
