Mayme Lee Griffitts Churchill (Nurs class of ’39) of Anson, Texas, died June 19, 2018. She served as a nurse in the U.S. Army. Ms. Churchill worked at West Texas Medical Center and Humana Hospital as the materials manager until her retirement in 1986. She was known for her kindness, warm smile and positivity, and she would help or feed anyone. Survivors include her daughter, six grandchildren, two sisters and seven great-grandchildren.
