Rebecca A. Hannon (Col ’10 L/M) of Herndon, Virginia, died Feb. 14, 2016. At the University, she volunteered with Madison House. She worked in commercial property management, most recently with Eden’s in Fairfax, Virginia. A dedicated athlete, Ms. Hannon played varsity soccer and ran cross-country in high school, later becoming a long-distance runner in college. She enjoyed traveling and spending time at the beach, particularly in Nags Head, North Carolina. She also loved spending time with her family, her friends and her pets. Survivors include her husband, her parents and a brother.

Ceili Leahy (Col ’18 L/M) of Fredericksburg, Virginia, died Jan. 27, 2016. At the University, she was involved with the Climate Action Society. She passionately advocated for justice and human rights and could often be found at demonstrations around Charlottesville. She loved camping, cooking, swimming, traveling and learning about other cultures and peoples. Survivors include her parents and a brother.
