Daniel W. Cho (Darden ’14) of Glen Allen, Virginia, died Nov. 17, 2017. He attended James Madison University and earned his executive MBA from the Darden School of Business. Mr. Cho was passionate and loyal. He loved flip-flops, Orioles, UVA sports, poker and especially his family. He loved effortlessly, with openness and honesty. He fought hard against cancer, and he fought to make the time he had matter. He courageously faced each treatment and refused to let the disease define him. Rather, through his battle he demonstrated his strength, selflessness and resolve. It was important to him to teach his children how to perform acts of kindness for others in the way so many people did for him. Survivors include his wife, Hedi H. Cho; two children; his parents; and a brother, Richard W. Cho (Col ’97).
