Grant Oakes Green (Darden ’13 L/M) of Grenada, Miss., died June 21, 2014. He was a director in his family’s business. Before attending business school, he worked as a fixed income derivatives trader at Gambit Trading in Chicago, where he also took improvisational acting classes. Mr. Green was an avid lover of nature and adventure. At age 9, he learned to fly his father’s airplane and later became a licensed aviator. He climbed Mount Rainier in Washington with his brother, often skied and snowboarded with friends and family, and explored Mammoth Cave and camped across Southern California with friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family’s dogs and reading literature, philosophy and science. Survivors include his parents, a sister and a brother.
