Elizabeth H. Alvey Erwin (Grad ‘02) of Zion Crossroads, Va., died Dec. 3, 2010. At the University, Ms. Erwin was a Roberts Scholar. She worked as a psychiatric nurse with the children and adolescents of the greater Charlottesville area. Survivors include a brother, T. William Alvey III (Col ‘89 L/M).

Katie-Fenton Viccellio (Col ‘03 L/M) of Norfolk, Va., died Nov. 14, 2010. She was a writer and published poet, with articles appearing in the Virginian-Pilot, the Downtowner and the Compass. She held a commercial real estate appraisal license and, away from work, had a blue belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and a first-degree black belt in karate. She completed triathlons, and was an occasional personal trainer for her friends and family. An enthusiastic Cavaliers fan, Ms. Viccellio had held season tickets for many years.

Travis Covey (Col ‘07) of Richmond, Va., died Dec. 27, 2010. At the University, he was a member of the Hoo Crew. Mr. Covey received a master’s of public administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. His passions included tennis and guitar.
