Alexander N. Lamme (Law ’00) of Brambleton, Va., died April 11, 2013. He was an accomplished runner at the high school, collegiate and national levels and was a two-time Drake Relays champion and a Kansas Relay champion. Mr. Lamme was a partner in the law firm of Watt, Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald in McLean, Va., and most recently worked for Kiewit in Omaha, Neb. Survivors include his wife and four children.


Megan Johnson Kuchinski (Engr ’03) of Arlington, Va., died March 21, 2013. At the University, she volunteered with Madison House and played on the women’s club softball team. Ms. Kuchinski completed the Marine Corps Marathon and was active in several local softball leagues. She was a loving, generous person who had the ability to lift the spirits of everyone in the room. Survivors include her husband, Adam J. Kuchinski (Engr ’03).


Christopher S. Dow (Col ’09) of Virginia Beach died Feb. 18, 2013. At the University, he was a religious studies major. Mr. Dow worked for Premier Appraisal Group in Chesapeake, Va. He loved having fun, eating fine food, playing Xbox and spending time with his family and friends.
