Billy W. McDonald (Res class of ’92) of Knoxville, Tennessee, died Feb. 1, 2017. He was a resident in radiation oncology at the University after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia and attending Emory Medical School. He practiced at the Thompson Cancer Center in Knoxville for 13 years. Dedicated and compassionate, Dr. McDonald loved his work and his patients and will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his family. Survivors include his wife, Victoria; four children; his mother; and two brothers.
