Charles Chopin (Engr ’93 L/M) of Barrington, R.I., died Sept. 7, 2011. He was a software engineer. He was also an Eagle Scout, a Waterfire Providence boat captain and an active member of the Sea Scouts, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Smithfield Sportsman Club and the Knights of Columbus. He was a participant in the Save the Bay Swim, Pan Mass Challenge and the Marion-Bermuda Sailing Race in 2001 and 2003. Survivors include his brother, Adrien Chopin (Engr class of ’02).

Ann Caldwell Wells (Educ class of ’98) of Lynchburg, Va., died Aug. 18, 2011. Ms. Wells was a teacher and administrator for the Campbell County School District for more than 30 years. Survivors include a son, David B. Wells (Com ’93 L/M).
