Patricia Gregory (Med’ 90) of Chapel Hill, N.C., died June 13, 2010. She was an assistant professor in the department of physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she researched solutions to stroke rehabilitation.

Helen Gordon Rolfe (Educ ’90) of Richmond, Va., died July 6, 2010. During her career with the Virginia Education Association, she partnered with teachers to promote quality education across the state.

Steven A. Fontana (Col ’92) of Hamilton, Mont., died June 4, 2010. He worked as a chef, employed at several different restaurants and lodges in Hamilton and Whitefish.

Julie A. Hurst (Educ ’92) of Fredericksburg, Va., died June 4, 2010. She was an elementary schoolteacher and then an assistant principal, principal and director of education. Most recently, Ms. Hurst was the executive director of curriculum and instruction for Spotsylvania County Schools.

Robin Michele McKinney (Col ’93 L/M) of Richmond, Va., died Feb. 21, 2010. She was a doctoral candidate with an expected graduation date of December 2010 from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Chris Luvaas Campbell (GSBA ’95) of Oakton, Va., died July 4, 2010. He spent his career in the consulting industry, working for Booz Allen, Arthur Andersen, and BearingPoint before launching his own company in March 2003. Mr. Campbell founded Washington Consulting, growing it rapidly until it was sold in 2006. He then founded Integrity Consulting in 2007 with three other partners. Mr. Campbell served on the Green Hedges School board of trustees.

Damian Troy Silvera (Col ’96 L/M) of Long Island, N.Y., died June 14, 2010. At the University, he was a member of the soccer team and participated in three NCAA national championships. Mr. Silvera was drafted by the New York MetroStars and became a professional soccer player. In 1996, he joined the U.S. National Team for the Summer Olympics. He finished his career with the Kansas City Wizards. In 2001, he began coaching soccer.
