—Politics Professor Larry Sabato, on his decision to stop teaching his popular Introduction to American Politics course after this semester. “I agreed to teach [the course] for 10 years, and somehow 10 years stretched into 35, though I have enjoyed each and every semester and have been privileged to teach more than 15,000 in the class,” he wrote in an email to the Cavalier Daily. Sabato isn’t slowing down, however. He’s adding new upper-level classes to his schedule and will continue to serve as director of the Center for Politics.
