How UVA grad schools stacked up in latest rankings

UVA schools earned high marks again in the 2025 U.S News & World Report rankings of graduate schools.

The law school held steady at No. 4, behind Stanford, Yale and the University of Chicago. The Darden School of Business dipped one spot to No. 11, tied with the University of California, Berkeley. The School of Education and Human Development has climbed considerably in recent years, jumping from No. 16 in 2023 to No. 6 this year.
