Charlottesville’s Dave Matthews Band performed two sold-out shows on Sept. 22 and 23 to officially open the John Paul Jones Arena. Though the band had the honor of playing at the grand opening, the arena first opened its doors on Aug. 1 for Cirque du Soleil.
