Bookmarked: A Gift From Above

During halftime of the Clemson football game on Nov. 22, a sky diver landed in Scott Stadium to present a gift from the Seven Society in the amount of $14,777.77. In a letter about the gift, the Seven Society challenged students to submit ideas about how the gift could be used for “meaningful and lasting ways to directly impact the University community.” The letter continued, “Proposals are to be delivered to the Jefferson Statue in the Rotunda by Feb. 7, 2009, at 5 p.m.”

To watch the descent into Scott Stadium from the sky diver’s helmet-mounted camera, search “Scott Stadium swoop” on YouTube.

This is a wonderful photo.  What would you charge for a print (or e-transmission) with one-time rights to publish, for a book I am writing, Virginia Mysteries & Legends?  I am the author of 3 other Virginia books published by Globe Pequot, and was co-author of Old Virginia Houses.
    Thanks.
