Local Universities Report Cases of Suspected Swine Flu

Cases of suspected swine flu at the University of Maryland have multiplied from 64 to 172, a college spokeswoman said Tuesday, and at least three other colleges and universities are reporting likely H1N1 cases.

The University of Virginia had 55 cases of flu-like illness as of Tuesday, according to spokeswoman Marian Anderfuren.
