Alyson Whitman Manoukian (Col ’91) of Upper Arlington, Ohio, died Jan. 24, 2018. At the University, she was a member of the University Journal staff. Survivors include her husband, Mark; two daughters; her mother; a sister; a nephew; and a niece.


Jacqueline Dimmock (Educ ’93, Grad ’98) of Syracuse, New York, died April 7, 2017. She was associate director of the addiction psychiatry research program at State University of New York Upstate Medical University. Survivors include her parents and two sisters.


Byron Cocke (Com ’98 L/M) of Savannah, Georgia, died Aug. 28, 2017. At the University, he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. After graduation, he eventually started his own real estate business in Atlanta. He was a loving father and devoted husband who enjoyed adventure and traveling; he took his family around the globe, living for a time in Paris. Survivors include five children; his parents, including Charles Cocke (Com ’65); and two brothers, Charles Cocke Jr. (Com ’00 L/M) and John H. Cocke (Com ’03, ’04 L/M).
