Patricia Norris Stewart (Nurs ’90, ’91) of Charlottesville died June 7, 2015. She was a staff nurse for more than 25 years, primarily in the emergency department of the University of Virginia Medical Center. After retiring in 2003, Ms. Stewart loved spending time with her family, friends and church community. She played organ and piano for several churches in town, including Mount View Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, including Jennifer Stewart Dealy (Nurs ’92 L/M); two sons, including Richard Wagner Stewart (Col ’78 L/M); five grandchildren, including John Graden Stewart (Col ’18); a sister; and many extended family members.

Victoria “Tori” Brown Sheahan (Nurs ’92) of Winter Park, Florida, died June 22, 2015. She was a pediatric nurse who provided school-based health care to underserved populations in central Florida. Ms. Sheahan began her career as a pediatric ICU nurse in Virginia and Florida before joining Healthcare Providers of Florida in 2000, serving as vice president of the organization since 2008. She provided clinical supervision to the entire nurse practitioner staff and mentored, educated and supported the school nurses working in the Winter Park consortium of schools. From her primary clinical office at Glenridge Middle School, she helped decrease school absenteeism and promoted healthy life choices for students. She also worked closely with the Florida Department of Children and Families to protect children from abuse. Ms. Sheahan enjoyed relaxing and reading at home, and loved to have fun with her family. She cherished nightly family walks and dinners and often organized family game nights, overnight camping trips and outings to parks and zoos. She and her family traveled often throughout the United States and the world. Survivors include her husband, William T. Sheahan (Engr ’81, Med ’85 L/M); a daughter, Ellen “Ellie” Sheahan (Col ’18 L/M); a son; her parents; a brother; and many extended family members.
