Emily Roosevelt (Col ’91 L/M) of Park City, Utah, died April 11, 2010. She clerked for Judge Monroe G. McKay of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit in Salt Lake City. In 2000, Ms. Roosevelt joined the U.S. Department of the Interior Office of the Solicitor General, where she worked on behalf of public land issues. In June 2008, she received a heart transplant and became an advocate for organ donation and patient care. Survivors include her father, Christopher Dupont Roosevelt (Col ’64 L/M).

Thomas W. Kollmer (Col ’92 L/M) of New York City died Aug. 2, 2010. He was a longtime bartender at several establishments in New York City.
R. Scott Mayo (Col ’93, GSBA ’98 L/M) of Framingham, Mass., died July 13, 2010. At the University, he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He was a founder of Mayo Capital and Game Creek Capital. Survivors include his father, Richard Mayo (Col ’64, GSBA ’68); and his former wife, Tracy Mayo (Educ ’93).

Staria J. Mitchell (Nurs ’97) of Forest, Va., died on Aug. 31, 2010. She spent her life in the medical field, beginning as a registered respiratory therapist.

Seth Joseph Mitcho (Engr ’98 L/M) of Woodbridge, Va., died Oct. 6, 2010. He traveled extensively through his work as a financial consultant at McKinsey & Company. He spent extended time in New York City, Milan, Barbados and Philadelphia.
