Julia Sullivan Wetmore (Col ’90 L/M) of Richmond, Va., died June 6, 2009. She was a devoted wife and mother. Survivors include her husband, Douglas D. Wetmore IV (Col ’88, Law ’91 L/M); and her father, Joseph P. Sullivan (Law ’84).

Susan Hawkins Cain (Col ’91) of Earlysville, Va., died April 21, 2009. During her career, she worked for Martha Jefferson Hospital, General Electric-Fanuc, Plow and Hearth, Intuit Corp. and PBM Products. Ms. Cain was active in the Society for Human Resource Management and the Albemarle-Charlottesville Human Resources Association. Survivors include her mother, Deborah Craun Hawkins (Nurs ’62, ’81 L/M); and a sister, Kimberley Hawkins Greist (Col ’85 L/M).

Tracy Pendleton Morgan (Arch ’93) of Charlottesville died May 21, 2009. She was an artist and a landscape architect. Survivors include a sister, Hillary Lee Morgan (Col ’84, Grad ’87 L/M); and a brother, Jeffrey T. Morgan (Col ’88, Med ’93 L/M).

Miche’ Young Tentor (Col ’93 L/M) of Richmond, Va., died May 25, 2009. At the University, she was a member of Delta Gamma sorority and an organizational leader with the Southwestern Co. After teaching in Roanoke schools, Ms. Tentor devoted her time to her family.

Karen Elaine Simpson Peacher (Nurs ’98, ’07 L/M) of Unionville, Va., died March 19, 2009. She was a nurse practitioner and was employed with Cardiology Associates of Fredericksburg.

Keith Warren Mumford (GSBA ’99 L/M) of Richmond, Va., died June 28, 2009. He was an investment banker with BB&T Capital Markets. Survivors include his wife, Emily S. Mumford (Educ ’96).

Alexander Randolph Thomas (Col ’99, Med ’03 L/M) of Charlottesville died May 20, 2009. He completed a pediatric residency at the Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, then researched endocrinology at the University of Virginia before starting a fellowship program at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. Survivors include a brother, Frank Darden Moorefield (Col ’87 L/M); and a sister, Mary Page Moorefield-Hyler (Educ ’90).
