Her work identifies ways to formalize a collaborative partnership between the University of Connecticut Health Center/Correctional Managed Health Care and the Connecticut Department of Correction. She was also inducted as a fellow of the American Academy of Nursing in the fall. Ms. Shelton is an associate professor at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and is the director of research and evaluation for Correctional Managed Health Care.
