      <description>William Bowron (Col ’75 L/M) is president and chief executive officer of Red Diamond, Inc. He is also chairman of the Tea Association of the USA. This is his second term as chairman. Red Diamond is a family&#45;run coffee and tea company, the first in the U.S. to manufacture completely sealed tea bags and the first in the country to offer gallon&#45;sized tea bags. In addition, Red Diamond was the first company in the U.S. to produce decaffeinated tea. Today, it is the nation’s number one seller of ready&#45;to&#45;drink gallon tea in dairy case. Mr. Bowron was named 2009 CEO of the Year by the Birmingham Business Journal. He serves on the board of directors f rRed Diamond and has served on the boards of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, the Birmingham&#45;Jefferson Historical Museum, St. Vincent’s Foundation and the Birmingham United Soccer Association. He serves as a trustee of the Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce and on the advisory board of PreSchool Partners. Mr. Bowron is a member of the Rotary Club of Birmingham and the World Presidents’ Organization.</description>

Newest Developments and the Green Paper of the EU Commission: Evaluation and Comments” that was presented at the International Association of Defense Counsel&#8217;s Meeting in Prague, Czech Republic on May 8, 2009. Mr. D’angelo was also the moderator for the program “Ethics: The Erosion of the Attorney&#45;Client Privilege and the Work Product Doctrine, and Its Effect On In&#45;House Counsel,” which was presented at the Federation of Defense &amp;amp; Corporate Counsel&#8217;s Corporate Counsel Symposium, held in Philadelphia, Penn., in September 2010. Mr. D&#8217;Angelo is a partner in the litigation department at Montgomery, McCracken, Walker &amp;amp; Rhoads, LLP and is chairman of its products liability &amp;amp; mass torts section and vice chairman of its sports, entertainment &amp;amp; amusements law practice.</description>

The Hall of Fame is a program of the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Mass Communications that recognizes individuals, principally Virginians, who have made significant contributions in the field of communications. Mr. Rubin worked for WNOR Radio in Norfolk, Va., and as political and features reporter for WAVY TV (NBC) in Hampton Roads for 15 years before starting his own public relations firm, Rubin Communications Group, which is headquartered in Virginia Beach. From 1992&#45;2008, in a part&#45;time role, he was executive producer and host of “On the Record with Joel Rubin”, a weekly news interview program on WVEC TV (ABC) in Hampton Roads. Mr. Rubin’s son, Danny Rubin (Col ’06 L/M), is a TV news reporter for WTKR TV (CBS) in Hampton Roads. His daughter is Molly Rubin (Col ’09).</description>
