She served as one of 51 delegates for the United States to the World Confederation of the Organization of the Teaching Profession in Seoul, Korea in 1966 and in Vancouver in 1967. Mr. Crotty is a local historian, author and retired professor. Mr. Crotty served on the faculties of U.Va., Georgia Tech, UNC, University of Texas and Texas A&M. He has authored three books: Jefferson’s Legacy: His Own University, Visits of Lewis and Clark to Fincastle, Virginia, Jefferson’s Western Travels and Th.
