Class Discussion
...and I always thought Marshall was destined to become a musician. He had a rock ‘n’ roll band in the 1958-60 time frame. I attended a fraternity party once, as the band’s “roadie.” Not having been to the bar, I was the designated driver of Marshall’s vehicle for the trip back to the dorms. We got stopped because of a defect in one of the tail lights. I wasn’t eligible to drive “on grounds” at the time, so this resulted in me going to Dean B.F.D. Runk’s office, where my driving privileges were taken away for 6 months “after you become eligible.” My driving privileges in Albemarle County were restored when I attended summer school in 1970.
