Howard A. Ozmon (Col ’54 A/M) received an Ed.D. from Teachers College, Columbia University, and taught at the Curry School of Education from 1964 to 1968. He is the author of many books and articles including Philosophical Foundations of Education (Pearson Prentice Hall 2008, 2011.)

Henry says

"W. Va. Governor Joe Manchin made me an "Honorary Mountaineer", but I am already a hillbilly. My wife Jean now has four degrees, the most recent being a BFA in sculpture. At age 81+ I am more active than when I was 41. "

Henry Gould (Col ’54, Grad ’56 L/M) retired in 2007 as professor emeritus of mathematics after a 49-year full-time faculty position at West Virginia University. He has published 200 research papers in nearly 20 countries and is co-authoring six books. Mr. Gould is continuing working and serves as an editor for math journals in China, Serbia, Canada, India and the U.S. West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin made him an “Honorary Mountaineer”. He lives with his wife, Jean.
