Thanks to treatment by researchers at the University of Virginia Medical Center, the world's tallest man may have reached his peak.

Measuring at 8-feet-3 inches, 29-year-old Sultan Kosen of Turkey is listed in the 2011 Guinness World Records at the tallest living man.

Kosen visited UVA in May 2010 for treatment for a disorder called acromegaly, which is usually caused by a tumor in the pituitary gland.
