We’re No. 2

In the national Directors’ Cup competition, which reflects schools’ performances in NCAA championships, UVA held the No. 2 spot among Division I schools at the close of the fall season. The men’s soccer championship (worth 100 points) and the field hockey team’s semifinal appearance (worth 83 points) helped UVA compile 337 points, second only to Stanford with 370.
