Workers stand on the Rotunda roof, where the first phase of a major renovation project is underway (see feature story). In other corners of the University, another project has been launched that will shape the University in less visible, but perhaps even more important, ways. This fall, President Teresa Sullivan established a steering committee and working groups—composed of faculty, staff, alumni, students and parents—that are examining the big questions that will shape the University's future. In addition, the president named J. Milton Adams (Engr '76) as senior vice provost, a new position charged with leading the strategic planning process.
For more details about these efforts, see the letter from the president.
